Managing obesity means managing your energy intake and maintaining calorie intake, maintaining your stored calories. Your weight gain will drop and you will even lose some of your physical activity, which brings us to Transactional calories.

Transactional calories refer to calories that are stored as food and calories that we eat to keep us warm. An adult with 6 years old son has somewhere between 2,500 and 4,000 Transactional calories. But nothing should be about numbers, but much more about achieving the right weight on the healthy scale.

Eating healthily


If you’re getting yourself to lose weight, eating nutritiously is essential. I don’t mean just eating plant-based meals, but learning to feed our body the foods that give us the most energy while providing the most nutrients.

Food as medicine


Our body does need to eat to keep the functioning of our body working. We do need the body to function but eating this food gives us the right food and it is crucial to achieving a healthy weight.
